Self Defense, Again
Posted on September 29, 2016
As we continue to observe and record the trot towards 700/4,000, it’s likely we’ll see a couple-two-tree self defense shootings along the way. The latest incident felled a would be robber with his buddy hightailing it to safer locals:
“A man fatally shot someone who was trying to rob him Wednesday night in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side, according to Chicago Police.
The 22-year-old man was sitting in a vehicle with another male about 8:20 p.m. in the 4300 block of South State when two other males armed with handguns walked up and announced a robbery, police said.
The man then pulled out a gun and shot one of the would-be robbers, police said. The male, whose age was not immediately known, was dead at the scene. The other suspect ran away.
The man had a valid concealed carry license, according to police. No one else was injured in the shooting.”
Daley was right! It is like the Wild West!
