Misplaced Priorities 2.0

Back in November we posted a story about how a few individuals had gotten their panties in a bunch over some signage. Apparently, the same sets of panties have been re-bunched a bit tighter this time:

“A gas station with no signs has some residents upset and feeling disrespected by an owner they say does not care about the community.

“If this station was anywhere else but Englewood, it would have a sign up,” said Leslie Snow, 31, an Englewood resident. “I get so tired of these businesses opening up in black neighborhoods providing poor customer service and thinking they can treat us any type of way.””

And the reason for this affront to all of humanity?

“We are in the middle of changing the business name. That’s why there is no name outside. But there will be signage up next week,” Alrub said. “This used to be a Marathon station but, since we are changing the name, Marathon removed their name.”

Clearly this man is lying. There is no name change in place but a diabolical plan to disrespect thousands of unsuspecting Englewood residents.

Keep it short and to the point. Name calling and similar stupidity will be deleted. If you insist on writing several paragraphs, start your own blog.

If I remember right it had a sign up which read “Gas Station” but it was a test. A snide, sideways, fiendish test…..illiterate morons could recognize the patterns and colors of the Marathon sign as one might recognize a flag without the name of the country on it, but they cannot read the sign and now, by design, will drive by this gas station day in and day out until they run out of gas and are confined to their slums, er, neighborhood of under-developed and underserved economic opportunity.

You just overlooked the obvious…..it’s discrimination against those too stupid or lazy to take advantage of the free schooling we pay taxes to provide to those who deserve it most. The illiterati are being disrespected because of their great disabilities, both laziness and stupidity, and because they can’t read the sign, we are guilty of rubbing their noses in this cruel joke by placing notice of a “gas station” right in front of them without a picture of a gas pump for them to be in on it too……
