A Very Hole-y Weekend
Posted on April 20, 2014
While most of Chicago has spent their Easter weekend doing Easter and family related activities, a small group of jagoffs have continued to wreak havoc upon their neighborhoods. Saturday was especially hole-y with four (4) killed and 13 others wounded:
“An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were found dead of apparent gunshot wounds in a home in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said in Saturday shootings that left at least one other person dead and 11 more injured.
For the two found shot to death, Chicago police were called to a home on the 8200 block of South Houston Avenue at 10:38 a.m., said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada.
The two were found dead with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the office. Area South detectives were investigating.
In addition to that shooting, a 42-year-old man was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, police said.
Darren Ray of the 3000 block of West Flournoy Street was found in an alley on the 2900 block of West Flournoy Street at 9:30 a.m. according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.”
Today is going to be absolutely perfect weather-wise, which likely means our beloved honor students will make the most of their Easter Sunday.
Happy Easter!
